I had a near brush with death last night…. Hmmm.

Everyone has stopped what they are doing and staring at the screen in awe. “Oh my!” they exclaim. “What is this near death experience?” they wonder as they curiously pull their chairs up close to the screen to read on.

The near death experience was simply a ‘moment in the flesh’.  Let’s look at Romans chapter 8.

“⁶ For to be carnally minded is death…”  Yes a moment in carnality is as dangerous as being in a lion’s den without God… or being in a fiery furnace without Jesus… It is like jumping from an airplane without a parachute… A moment in the flesh is a borderline suicide in the making.

^“7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be...”

Carnality is enmity against God… wow. How often have we said “well that’s just me”?  Guess what! “Just me” is God’s enemy. That’s right. God is spirit and “those who worship Him, follow Him, subscribe to HIM and His kingdom MUST worship Him in SPIRIT and in truth” Flesh cannot and will not please God. He has no communion with carnality. He is a spirit being and so are we. If we will commune with Him, it must be from our spirits. It is like going into a room of people who speak only Russian and trying to communicate with them using our English dialect. It will not work. However, if we have taken time, gone through the painful process of learning the language AND the customs of the Russian kingdom before entering the room filled with Russian nationals, we can interact with them with understanding and they will embrace us for honouring their culture.

^“8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God!!!! What greater incentive to strive to kill the flesh then this truth! I WANT TO PLEASE GOD!!! What about you my brethren? Flesh is selfish and self centered focusing always on what it has or doesn’t have; what it feels or doesn’t feel… who did this to it or who didn’t do that to it. Flesh is fleshy and wants to be worshipped, adored, pampered … What is referred to as flesh is a mind set, the mind that we inherited from the fall of Adam, the reason we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity. To be carnal minded is enmity against God. CARNALITY is like full blown HIV… it is DEADLY!

What the law could not do for the requirement of righteousness because of our sin nature, God did by sending us a Saviour, Jesus the CHRIST, the Messiah, the Light of the World, our Advocate for righteousness, our Redeemer, our LORD!

Now He has made a way for us to move from our INHERITED SIN NATURE into our INHERITANCE… our DIVINE NATURE, that which was given to us from the time of creation. We must remember that we are fashioned after GOD’s own image and likeness and purposed to have dominion over all the earth and every living thing. (Genesis 1:26) However because of the fall of Adam, we were born of a woman (conceived in sin) and shaped in iniquity (unrighteousness). How do we recapture our Divine Nature and walk in right standing with God? God has made a way through the shedding of blood and the redemption of sin. The ultimate blood sacrifice was made on the cross giving us a path back to God where we can come boldly to the throne of grace, and obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Still we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling by entering in at the strait gate, the difficult place.

At the point of salvation the Spirit of God takes up residence within us, yes, however the only thing that is made new is our spirit. Our mind, souls and intellect now need to be restored to God’s original intent so the spirit of God in us can rule and reign. They will need work.

If u have ever seen any precious metal restored, it is stripped, scraped, filed, sanded, burned, put in acid… you name it, all for the sake of removing the buildup of rust and residue of the effects of the elements in order to bring it back to life and likeness of its original state. I can only imagine that if these metals had feelings much the same as we do, it would be a painful process although a necessary experience to obtain a glorious result.

Our aim is to walk after the spirit so as not to fulfill the lust of flesh and ultimately to PLEASE GOD. Hmmm. Let us get moving then, through this strait gate. Why then is this gate so difficult to enter and why do so few find it? Self has a very strong nature and loves to reign. Self is never eager to relinquish its throne however when we begin to seek God through Prayer, worship and study of His word, transformation begins and the renewing of the mind is now in progress. The renewed mind will see us being led by the Spirit of God out of darkness and into His marvelous light. As we study and apply this life changing word, obeying in faith, God will take us from faith to faith and from glory to glory. He will bring us into close proximity with Him, wetting our appetites more and more for the fulfillment of fullness of our Kingdom purpose for Kingdom’s sake.

The process, though not pleasant is both necessary and rewarding. Processing will lead us through a series of tests and challenges. It will take us through valleys and wilderness experience, to mountaintops and back to the trenches. This process will train us to seek, to press, to forge our way through in search of the secrets of the deep in pursuit of TRUTH and He who is truth. As we answer the call of the deep a whole new world is opened up to us as God begins to open us to us HIS good treasure. Our obedient faith fueled participation will bring us our just reward. This race is not to the swift but to those who endure to the end. It is a race of endurance that builds spiritual character, backbone and muscle bringing us to a place of no return. Let’s enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and enter His courts with praise.

 How then do I liken this ‘moment in the flesh’ give me a near death experience? I tell you, when your eye is stayed on God He will keep you in perfect peace. In that place of peace you hear His voice, see His face, enjoy in His presence, strengthened by His joy and provided for by His hand. This is experience by way of the spirit as we rest in Him. When your focus (eye) is shifted, your peace will withdraw, your hearing will draw dim, your joy and strength will diminish and His provision will not be in your view… Why? Because you have in a twinkling moved from your place in the spirit, a place of life and life more abundant, into the flesh… a dead place.

My beloved, Deuteronomy 30:19 says
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Why is it that in most local assemblies, where prosperity is being taught, there seem to be only a few who are benefitting while the rest continue to struggle?

Could it be that prosperity has been erroneously taught from a "faith ONLY" perspective and not from the perspective of "inheritance?" Have we been taught that "if we SOW and WATER and WAIT that we will reap?" How many have sown and sown and sown and never ever reap?

Matthew 6:33 says that if we "seek first the KINGDOM of God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS, all things will be added unto us." God has promised to give us all things pertaining to life and godliness and He would that we prosper and be in health EVEN as our SOUL prospers... We are spending so much of our time declaring and decreeing and calling in material blessings that come only in trickles, if at all, when in essence we should be taking inventory of our souls.

If God wills Prosperity and Health for His people, why then are we, those who call ourselves by HIS NAME, struggling with health and wealth? Could it be that we have ascribed to the "struggle" by "choosing" to stay where we are in the spirit, expecting the "blessing" to find us because we have sown, declared and decreed, when in essence God is calling us to come out of that dead place, shake of that religious mindset, bow our hearts and SUBMIT OUR WILLS TO HIS WILL... Seek His KINGDOM.. Seek HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS... thus gaining access to the keys that will enable us to walk INTO our INHERITANCE and utilize what is already ours.

God will not open the windows of heaven over the religious body that is commonly known as "Church", where doctrins of man have been perceived as truth and people have aligned themselves to these doctrins and not to the Holy Word of God.. Those who will benefit from the open heaven are those who have LEFT the place of the flesh by way of seeking His Kingdom, ascribing to His righteousness and renovation of their souls and coming into their wealthy place, the place where you don't need money to make you wealthy.. Those who become citizens of the KINGDOM of GOD will find that as they take up residency in God's Kingdom, the place where HE DWELLS, that provision has already been made for them.. All things pertaining to life and godliness are comonplace to those who have found prosperity in their souls..

COME FROM WHERE YOU ARE.. PEOPLE OF GOD.. AND COME TO WHERE HE IS.. Come out of CHURCHIOUSITY and Into HIS KINGDOM.. Let the demolision begin.. jus sayin

I love this.. A man whose eye is stayed on Jesus will carry his family in faith, come hell or high water..

 

 

The True Strength of a man is seen not in his pocket, but in the condition of his heart and his relationship with God.. "He can do all things through Christ which strengthens him."

 

 

I don't see strength in money or muscles, though they both have their value. TRUE STRENGTH is in oneness with He WHO IS strength. What do we have to sustain us when money and bodily strength disipate?

 

A woman who will have a husband will do good to look more closely at his relationship with, and his reliance on God, than she will look at his finances or his material aquisition. Godly wisdom will help her to discern the one who is "equipped to carry her in the spirit." He is that "wealthy man" that her mama told her she should seek to marry..

 

A man of Absolute faith has FORTITUDE to withstand the storms of life. A man whose FORTRESS is his material wealth is like the foolish man who built his house on the sand. His material wealth will not sustain him in times of trouble.

 

 

This same man of fortitude will be wise to choose that woman who will have his back in prayer. That one who will know him first by the spirit and continue to know him that way even after they have become one flesh. She will support his endeavors because they are one in spirit, likewise God will allow her to catch any vision that He gives to her husband.

 

People of God, let us cease to persue marriage (or relationship of any sort) for the sake of satisfying the flesh and stroking the emotions (selfish gain). Let us seek the will of God for Kingdom Purpose. Submitting our individual wills to His Divine Will, will see us sustained and satisfied, built up and fortified... equipped and ready for the Master's use. In it all we will find such gratification in the coming together as one when God alone is the orchaestrator, the author and finisher of our faith.. He knows full well what we need. LET HIM LEAD.. jus sayin ~jmoore~

 

DREAM AN IMPOSSIBLE DREAM

When God gives a great mandate you can be assured that the opposition will be great.. I am often.. VERY OFTEN.. reminded of Joseph and the DREAM that led him to be thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, falsely accused, unjustly imprisioned.. all for the sake of the fulfillment of his destiny for the purpose of the kingdom.

His journey to the palace was not a pleasant one and the route was more like that of a treacherous aobstacle course... but in it all Joseph "served the vision and mandate" that God gave to him by serving in prison.. serving in Potipher's house.. serving wherever he found himself.. He served other prisioners, he served the prison wardens.. and he served with gladness in his heart.

Joseph's service built him a resume (reputation) that qualified and positioned him in readiness to be recognized by royalty to relegate with appropriation and litigation the actualization of the dream he dreamed as a boy.. Though his dreamed SEEMED impossible to attain, his service to the dream transitioned him FROM the pit TO the palace.. for the benefit of the multitude..

Little did Joseph's family know that the dream he had, that same dream they despised him for, had global purpose. Little did they know that in trying to kill his vision, they were actually fueling his mandate. Little did they know that Joseph's dream had the potential to save their lives.

Are you dreaming an impossible dream? Write that vision and make it plain.. keep it before you to encourage you through the discomforts and discouragements of the obstacle course... Recognize the course as a means to build spiritual muscle needed for the positioning and execution of the mandate from a global seating.. I DARE YOU TO DREAM..

The Road to Destiny

The road to destiny is not always so clear

It’s sometimes filled with clutter, apprehension and fear

There’s something called ‘error’ that shows up now and then

There are hiccups and pitfalls from beginning to end

As one sets out in pursuit of that special place

It soon becomes apparent that one should not race

There is so much that must happen before one will be

Empowered and equipped to deal with their destiny

God has a blueprint for each one – you and me

But irrespective of the route we must come to see

That without Him as the heart of the plan

There’ll be no real fulfillment, for any woman or man

In an honest pursuit to find God there’ll be

Much preparation to fit one to be

That thing you were born for, destined to do

God will begin to manifest that same thing through you

A vital ingredient is the ability to understand

Destiny is designed to bring glory to God and not man

All that we give in service to Him

Must be out of obedience and not just for us to win

Obedience is the key that unlocks the door

It produces the answers that we are looking for

Obedience brings direction and sets one free

To walk in God’s will in entirety

Our life is laid down, our desires discarded

God’s heart is revealed and His desires imparted

We no longer want our flesh to be pleased

But the kingdom of God through us is released

As we walk in obedience to the Father and His Son

His precious Holy Spirit will allow us to become

An instrument of His honor and His glory

As He uses our lives to tell His story

So won’t you this day lay your life before Him

He guarantees that together you and He will win

He’ll give you more joy than you could ever known

You’ll reap rewards that supercede whatever you can sow

You are an intricate part of His universal plan

You can’t take affect except by His hand

He’ll not force you but if you allow Him He’ll be

The one who orchestrates your path to destiny

"And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her." Luke 1:38

When God calls you to carry His seed.. People will not look at you the same.. You will be mocked and scourned, rediculed for HIS sake. They will think you have lost your mind. They will call you irresponsible because they don't understand the level of faith that you are required by God to walk in.. They will accuse you unjustly and attempt to try you before men, hoping to cause you to abort the child you are carrying.

HOWEVER God in all wisdom will provide for you an Elizabeth in the earth. One who will "bear witness" of the seed you carry, one who will help bring understanding and clarity and provide encouragement at a time when no one seems to understand.

More importantly He will provide a JOSEPH for you.. One who will not only HEAR from God about you and what you carry, but will also AVAIL HIMSELF to God and to you to ASSIST in the carriage and the delivery of the child in your spiritual womb... FOR KINGDOM PURPOSE..

God's blessings are rich with no sorrow added.. He has it all worked out.. TRUST HIM.. OBEY HIM.. and He WILL use you mightly.. for HIS PURPOSE.. For HIS GLORY..

Do you have the faith of Gideon? Are you crazy enough to go to war against an enormous army having just an army of 300 men strong?  Could it be that 300 men of absolute trusted obedient faith carry more power than tens of thousands of wavering man followers?  Look at Gideon's army..

David was a shepherd boy whose only weapons were a sling and five smooth stones carefully chosen from a rippling brook.. the water of the word.. Still with his primitive weapons he stilled the enemy by bringing Goliath to the ground.

This season God will return all that the palmer worm and the canker worm have stolen or even attempted to steal from you.. No weapon formed against you can or shall prosper.. The army of the Lord is marching against the foe.. One can send a thousand to flight and two can send 10,000.. Three will send the legions fleeing..

Someone was sharing with me and mentioned not having the power, money and influence to match the oppressor.... this bought me in rememberance of Gideons army.. He could have marched into battle with 32,000 ill equipped soldiers and lost the battle.. instead he went in with only 300 men (a mere ramnant), a promise from God, and the BEST COMMANDER IN CHIEF EVER..

It appeared they did not have a chance against the enemy whose army was thousands of men in strength compared to their own 300 men. Still God had a plan and the key to accessing the plan of God was submission and obedience.. They heard God, agreed with Him through obedience and the enemy turned on their own ..God's instructions made no apparent sense .. still because they trusted Him, they obeyed and at the sound of the trumpet and the  breaking of a little clay pitcher containing a candle.. victory was wrought just as God said it would be..

Sound the trumpet.. PRAISE..

Break the clay jar.. YIELDED SUBMISSION

and the light of the Word (the candle) will lead the way to victory..

Many are the plans of a man.. but they are the way to distruction.. Continue to STAND ON THE PROMISE OF GOD.. CONTINUE TO PRAISE HIM IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY.. CONTINUE TO ALLOW HIS WORD TO BE AS A LAMP UNTO YOUR FEET AND A LIGHT UNTO YOUR PATH.. FEAR NOT.. ONLY BELIEVE.. AND STAND STILL AND WATCH THE SALVATION OF THE LORD.. KNOWLEDGE IS GAIN, WISDOM IS POWER BUT OBEDIENT TRUST IS PARAMOUNT.

God will take the foolish (simple) things of this world to confound the wise.. the crafty.. the cunning.. the seemingly strong.. BUT HIS WAYS AND THOUGHTS ARE SO MUCH HIGHER THAN OURS.. HE HAS A PLAN.. Position yourself to SHOUT and BREAK THE POT.. the light will come on and the battle will be won..

How do I call you brother when I don’t even know your name

How can I say I love you and not shelter you from the rain

How can I say “God bless you” then I hold back what you need

How can we say we are one, yet stand and watch one bleed

A new command He gave to us “As I have loved you so

Reach out and show love to each other wherever you may go

By this all men will look and see… and know that you are mine

Disciples taught and learned of me… men after my own kind”  (john 13:35)

And as we sacrifice our time, our money and our goods

We lay down our lives for those, as Jesus said we should (John 3:16)

Therefore as we yet have chance to see, let us to all do good

Especially to those of whom we know… belong to the family of God (Gal 3:10)

Let us come to realize… though many… we are one

Each belonging to the rest, from one body we all come (Rom 12:5)

Yes we are Christ’s body… and each of us “a part” (1 Cor 12:27)

The eye can never tell the hand “I don’t need you, depart!

(1Cor 12:21a)

The feet will never hear the head say “Feet I need you not”

(1Cor 12:21b)

Without the feet what would we do, except sit down and rut

We read how all did congregate, all things they had in common

Sharing all the goods they had… to meets the needs of each other (Acts 2:44-45)

Every day they did meet as one… in the temple’s courts

Breaking bread and eating together… with glad and sincere hearts

Praising God, partaking of the favour of all the people

As God multiplied and added to those He called His Redeemed (Acts 2:48)

So you see my brother, in love I’ll seek to know your name

I’ll look to give you shelter, to come in from the rain

Next time I say “God bless you” I’ll obey His lead

And do my very best to find a way to meet your need

When you’re down I’ll build you up with nuggets from God’s word

I’ll make the time to pray for you, to see you undergird

I’ll show you love and give you hugs and listen to your woes

Together we’ll allow the Lord to lead us as He goes

Together we will build up the foundation that He lays

Together we will show the world His love as we obey

Together we will grow in grace… God let your Kingdom come

Manifest your glory Lord, bring us together as one..

but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. Eph 4:15-16NAS

For Two Hearts to Beat as One

For our two hearts to beat as one

It’s through the heart of our Father that we must come

By intertwining first with Him

He will join us together, starting from within

He brings together to bring to Himself glory

That each union would tell the story

Of His power and His majesty

As His bringing together will set us free

Free from life’s bondage and ideals of man

Into a life of liberty that only He can

For in joining together the purpose should be

To bring to our Father

Praise and Glory

The Call to Relocate

God is calling His people out of the church and into the Kingdom; He is calling us to RELOCATE… to leave where we are and to come to where He is. He is calling us to do away with the ideals of atmospheric and cultural influence that have shaped and molded our subconscious, those principals that have formed our mindsets; and to come into His Kingdom... a place where the culture, character and laws are HIS...a place where we think like He thinks and everything we do is of one accord.  A place where we do away with personal goals and aspirations and give way to HIS WILL AND HIS PURPOSE…KINGDOM PURPOSE.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt 6:33kjv

We are the sum total of our life’s experiences and our thoughts and actions are governed by the laws of the community in which we reside.  We all claim to serve the same God and we read the same bible, supposedly being transformed by the renewing of our minds through the study of the word of God…Still our mindsets differ according to our culture and atmosphere. This is often seen in the way we interpret the word of God and apply it to our lives

Even though we are filled with the word of God, our cultural upbringing seems to have far more effect on our actions than does that of the word we claim to live by. Atmospheric influence is powerful, effectual and impacting. It shapes and forms our mindsets thus effecting change in our lifestyles and situations. In short... our surroundings profoundly impact our lives. The influence of our cultural upbringing lodged in our subconscious serves to govern our thoughts and our deeds more than we know.

In the book of Ephesians chapter 4, Paul admonishes the Ephesians to live a life worthy of their calling, to live in unity one with the another.

 ¹ Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. ² Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. ³ Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. ⁴ For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. ⁵ There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, ⁶ and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all. Eph 4:1-6NLT

This passage of scripture seems to be the most difficult for believers to adhere to.  In fact, the body of Christ is so severely disjointed, having more schisms and disharmony than any other religious body. Why is this so? We have become so divided through the competitiveness of denominational doctrines, philosophies and traditions that we have lost sight of Kingdom completely.

The word of God is the only rule of measure by which we should seek to agree one with another. Denominational doctrines exalted above the word of God have served to dilute the truth of the gospel, enforcing religion that has a form of godliness while denying the power therein. The gospel is not the gospel without the presence of the Spirit of God. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life.

Surely you are wondering what all of this has to do with the call to relocate. The answer is simple… EVERYTHING! When we come into the body of Christ, we come forgiven, but not transformed. We come with our carnal nature and common mindsets. We come not understanding the things of the spirit or how to apply them. We come misaligned and in need of re-alignment to the word, the will and the way of God.  

The bible tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, thus implying that all is not perfected at the time of conversion, we have work to do. When we submit to Godly teachers... when we SUBMIT to God’s word and do what we know to do with our limited understanding... when we study to show ourselves approved... when we diligently seek HIM... We shall find Him. When we seek His righteousness... WE SHALL BE FILLED!

This is a process and somewhere along the way in this journey our minds are transformed and our passion for more of Him, all of Him, is developed, nurtured and increased.  The more we seek Him, the more we find Him. The more we find Him, the more we love Him. The more we love Him the more we want to please HIM. When He becomes our PASSION, PRIORITY will be established. When Priority is established, POWER is made manifest. Those who are led by the Spirit of God obtain son ship, and sons want what Daddy wants for them and not what they want for themselves.  By the time we come to this place in God, it matters not what possessions we have gained or lost, who comes or who leaves, what positions we hold, or who recognizes us. All that matters is purpose.

Now we live to please Him, and in doing so, He takes care of our needs and oddly enough those things we THOUGHT we wanted become pale in the likes of Him. THIS IS AN AWESOME JOURNEY. Once our mind is renewed and the eyes of our understanding opened... once we are enlightened, we come to SOAR LIKE THE EAGLE…FOR KINGDOM PURPOSE.

HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. Psalm 91:1Amp

The KINGDOM of God is a dwelling place, a place of abode and not a place of occasional visits.  Kingdom is God and God is Kingdom. As we seek to come into oneness with Him, having our mindsets restored to His original way of thinking, relocating is inevitable.

When we come to understand the Kingdom of God as a dwelling place, having only one Sovereign ruler; a place where the culture and character of the abode are governed by the word, the will and the way of God, a place where His subjects have all things in common, having no lack… We can RELOCATE, moving from where we are to where He is... mobilizing and advancing the Kingdom of God, effecting change that will see the power of God made manifest in our everyday living.

Kingdom is a community governed by a constitution. That constitution is the word of God and serves to establish a culture that is directly adverse to our cultural upbringing. Though we are in the world we are not of the world. We did not originate here. We are a peculiar people.

But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1Peter 2:9NAS

People of God the time to move is now. Leave where you are and come to where He is… not for a visit… but to abide. He is Sovereign.

Poem: Just like an Eagle.

Just Like an Eagle

Just like an Eagle, I will not be

Defeated by any storm that comes to me

I will not run no I will not hide

But on the winds of that storm

I will surely ride

If you look at the eagle you will see

That when a storm comes he does not flee

He opens his wings as he heads right on in

Expecting that same storm to empower him to win

Just like the Eagle I’ll keep my eye on the “Son”

That I will see nothing but the light of that same one

With my eye on Him I’ll be blinded you see

To the circumstances that storm will try to bring to me

I’ll see only His majesty as His beauty I behold

I will trust in Him as my destiny He’ll unfold

I will rest in His peace knowing that He is you see

The orchestrator of destiny

As the storm rages on with wind, rain, snow and sleet

My needs and desires I trust God will meet

I know, as I trust Him that He will bring me through

If I continue in Him and do as He says to do

I will allow the storm to cause me to see

So much clearer as it elevates me

Through my outstretched arms and yielding to thee

I’ll allow that storm to empower me to be

 

Just like an Eagle

But those who wait for the Lord (who expect, look for, and hope in Him) shall change and renew their strength and power: they shall lift their wings and mount up (close to God) as eagles (mount up to the sun): they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.  Is 40:31 Amp
