Just Like an Eagle

Just like an Eagle, I will not be

Defeated by any storm that comes to me

I will not run no I will not hide

But on the winds of that storm

I will surely ride

If you look at the eagle you will see

That when a storm comes he does not flee

He opens his wings as he heads right on in

Expecting that same storm to empower him to win

Just like the Eagle I’ll keep my eye on the “Son”

That I will see nothing but the light of that same one

With my eye on Him I’ll be blinded you see

To the circumstances that storm will try to bring to me

I’ll see only His majesty as His beauty I behold

I will trust in Him as my destiny He’ll unfold

I will rest in His peace knowing that He is you see

The orchestrator of destiny

As the storm rages on with wind, rain, snow and sleet

My needs and desires I trust God will meet

I know, as I trust Him that He will bring me through

If I continue in Him and do as He says to do

I will allow the storm to cause me to see

So much clearer as it elevates me

Through my outstretched arms and yielding to thee

I’ll allow that storm to empower me to be

 

Just like an Eagle

But those who wait for the Lord (who expect, look for, and hope in Him) shall change and renew their strength and power: they shall lift their wings and mount up (close to God) as eagles (mount up to the sun): they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.  Is 40:31 Amp

Here I am ... Send me

One day as I was walking along a lonely road

I came upon a fig tree, and this is what I heard

Rest your weary body, sit beneath my wings

Listen to Me daughter, and I will tell you somethings

You see before this fig tree, life had been so rough

The road had been rugged and the meat I chewed, so tough

The mountains and the valleys, the vast and rough terrain

Had bought me to this fig tree and I sat beneath the rain

In this cool and pleasant place I listened to the voice

As the Master explained that day, He'd given me a choice

I could go on as I had done, or He could change my course

I could do it all my way or let Him be the boss

I pondered on this briefly but knew what I must do

I simply had to consent to let Him bring me through

I knew that I should follow the wisdom of His lead

Not knowing where He'd bring me, while trusting me He'd feed

I threw my hands up in the air and said to Him that day

You are the Master Potter, I am but the clay

Do with me as you see fit, Make me in your image

Do what only you can do, I promise not to grimace

Take me Lord and have your way, do with me as you please

I give to you all that I am, right here beneath these trees

To day I give my right to chose, My destiny I sow

I vow to speak as you instruct and where you send, I'll go

Use me Lord to do your will, your purpose to evoke

Work through me as you will to reach out to these folk

Create in me a clean heart, make my feet to be

Moved in the direction that leads to the red sea

Take my hand and lead me Lord, speak that I might hear

Give clarity and vision as your Kingdom draweth near

Guide me in that direction that will see the red sea part

Do as only you can do, Lord circumcise my heart

I didn't really understand what I had done that day

As I relinquished all my rights so He might have His way

I didn't fully grasp the magnitude at all

Of this great commission and mighty awesome call

I really didn't have a clue of where I'd have to go

What I would encounter as His Heart I'd come to know

The valleys and the mountains I would meet again

But this time it is different, I'm really not the same

This time as I journey on the way is not so rough

The road is not as rugged and the meat is not so touch

Oh to some it might appear that what I bear is pain

But for me to live is Christ and dying is my gain

The gate is strait, the way so tight, but through it I must go

I count it but a priviledge as on this path I know

I guess I'll never understand in it's entirety

What I really did when I said "Lord here I am, send me".

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. A-men. Matt 28:19-20

Reach out and touch the Master..

Do you have a situation that requires a touch from the Master? Are you waiting on HIM to come by and make things right for you? The woman with the issue of blood was a disdain to the community. She was deemed ceremonially unclean and not allowed to mingle with the people, let alone to come into the presence of Jesus. In spite of what religion deemed right or wrong, she KNEW ...deep in her KNOWER... that if she could but TOUCH HIM.. Hallelujah! She would be made whole.

Now AS SOON AS she touched the hem of His garment, the bible says that IMMEDIATELY her issue was taken care of and her FAITH had made her whole!! Jesus knew instantly that she had touched Him. She had purposed in her heart to touch Him and He recognized her intent and purpose .. as a result of her putting a DEMAND on the anoiniting, VIRTUE left His body, Jesus honoured her faith and HEALING BECAME HER PORTION. While we are yet waiting for a touch from the Master, He is waiting for us to TOUCH HIM. Deep is calling unto deep and  He IS a rewarder of those who DILIGENTLY seek Him.. TOUCH~

 ⁴³And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
 ⁴⁴Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
 ⁴⁵And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
 ⁴⁶And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
 ⁴⁷And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

Isaiah 53:5 (kjv)

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Won't your reach out and TOUCH the Master?  He is waiting for your touch! 

The Great conflict between Christ and Satan

The Great conflict between Christ and Satan, and in particular the sin problem, involves certain individuals and groups:

1) The Godhead is definitely involved (Father, Son and Holy Spirit)

2) 2/3 of Angels who remained loyal to God are involved.. as they are still looking

     into how their Creator deals with sin (1 Peter 1:12)

3) The beings from other worlds who have never sinned are also carefully  observing the way God handles the sin issue. We are not alone.. (Matthew 8:12)

4) We have another category; Satan and the 1/3 of his fallen forces of evil (Rev 12:4) who must also be satisfied that God was right in His handling of sin (remember Satan is called the "accuser of the brethren", who accuses God's children of their sins before Him day & night (Rev. 12:10;  Zech.3:1-3)

5) The last group relates to human beings divided into 2 groups; Repentant and unrepentant sinners in the great controversy. As the scriptures say, "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord..." (Isaiah 45:23;  Rom 14:11),whether they be human beings or demons)... No one in the Cosmos or on earth will be able to say that God was unfair..  the records will speak for themselves.

Therefore we should heed the call of Peter to "...give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fail" (2Peter 1:10)
What things does he refer to?
Because we have been given "exceeding great and precious promises that by these [promises] ye might be partakers of the divine nature.."(Christ's character), it becomes necessary to be diligent to "add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge, and to knowledge, temperance [self-control], and to temperance patience, and to patience godliness (God-likeness), and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness charity (love in action), for if these things be in you, and abound, they shall make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ,"But he that lacketh these things is blind, (Lord have mercy), and cannot see afar off (the future), and hath forgotten that he was purged from his sins" (2Peter 1:4-9)

The emphasis in this admonition is preparation and development for dwelling with beings in heaven and the rest of the universe who have never sinned!
If the counsel of the Holy Spirit using Peter is received, "ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ,... for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 8. 11)When we understand the objective of God toward his human family is love and full restoration to the character of Adam before the fall, we will hate every offensive thought, word or action that opposes Him and shuts us out from the glorious paradise Christ has gone to prepare for those who are faithful.
God has given us a free will, let us use it wisely through His powerful grace.

The word of God admonishes us to be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our minds...

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing THE WAY YOU THINK!!!  Then you will learn to KNOW God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:12 NLT

Principalities are mindsets governed by Powers (laws)... We must PULL DOWN these Principalities AND Powers by renewing our minds through obedience, with the word of God. We will then have "the mind of Christ” and obtain the promises in His word, once our thoughts (Mindsets) are governed by the laws of GOD.

Yes our youth lay emphasis on Money. Maybe the fact that our generation enforced in them that "LACK of money" was the reason why they had to do without so much. Our mindsets have been shaped by the spiritual laws governing our geographical locations and subsequently seen us as slave to a poverty mentality. Let us be transformed by the renewing of our own minds & we will become equipped to effect change in the mindsets of our youth.

Having our minds governed by the power of the laws of God's word will break the bond of poverty and see us walking in the fullness of the benefits of Kingdom living,  remembering that the battlefield is always in the mind and the victory is won when mindsets (principalities) are dethroned... hallelujah!

So often we are heard to say "we are fighting a losing battle," This being the case because the governing principalities of our mind have greater effect then our desire for victory.. Let us desire a mind change and we will see a power shift that will see us shifted from that off slave to master. God has given us the power to get wealth and He would that we should prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. Let us therefore grab hold of the keys to the kingdom of God and allow Him to establish prosperity in our souls through the re-establishment of governing principalities and laws of influence.. Let us be active Kingdom Citizens with the sphere of our environment (the Kingdom of God) being the governing factor that will influence our thinking and the manifestation of Kingdom living here on this earth. GOD is revealing His word. Let us push past erroneous mind sets and take on the MIND of Christ through the word of God, for KINGDOM PURPOSE. Victory is ours!

We wonder why we in the body of Christ have so much word but very little power. The power lies in the principal laws that govern our thoughts and mindsets. Even though we are filling ourselves with the word, we struggle to UNDERSTAND and ENFORCE that same word in our lives through our existing mindsets, thoughts and understanding that has been erected in the deep recesses of our minds, shaped and formed by the governing territorial principalities that we have unconsciously submitted to by way of our being born into that perspective region..

Bearing this in mind, being “born again” should see us born into a new geographical region by way of the spirit of God, giving us new governing principal laws thus establishing fresh mindsets, and provoking victorious living.. Being born again into the KINGDOM of God gives us access to KINGDOM LIVING made possible by our coming under the rule of the governing principals of KINGDOM MINDSET. Let us grab onto this and soar like and eagle.  It is ours for the asking, however we must yield to the WORD, the SPIRIT, the PERSON OF GOD... that we might obtain the PROMISE.

It is the continuation of the kingdom of God that destroys the rule of Satan's powers of darkness and the thrones of his rule will diminish in exact proportion to the rule of the kingdom of God in any given geographical area.

It is the responsibility of the church to confront principalities and powers by establishing the Kingdom of God first in our own lives and then by helping others, and thus establishing a witness to the people of God's Kingdom. Ephesians 3:9-12, "And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him."

The victorious Christian life is only available to those who are willing to engage the enemy. We must exercise the authority that we have been given, and if we do, victory is assured!

FACING THE END-TIME CRISIS

Because of the seriousness of the times in which we live, as Paul says in Romans 13:12

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness,
and let us put on the armour of light ....

As we prepare ourselves and others for the grand spectacular return of Our Lord in air, it would be well to consider the fact- a serious life & death fact- that the enemy is not going to lie down while the christian world breezes into the heavenly paradise Jesus has prepared for God's children, and from which he and his fallen

evil hordes were kicked out.
Here's what the apostle warns us of for the last days..

2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 (King James Version)

³Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition:
⁴Who opposeth and xalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

⁵Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

 ⁶And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

 ⁷For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

 ⁸And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

 ⁹Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

 ¹⁰And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

 ¹¹And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

¹²That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

It is clear that there will be a massive deception as millions will hail this false christ and arch-deceiver 

as the "long-looked for messiah" to come!  Daniel looking down to our day said the wise shall understand

and shall turn many to righteousness (Dan. 12: 10, 3)

The great issue is understanding and knowing Jesus for ourselves, which Jesus says is "life eternal (John17:3)

that as He leads us through His pure, unadulterated Word, the wise who have oil in their lamps will know the

counterfeit "christ" from the true Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

What has me in some heaviness, is the lack of seriousness and sobering meditation on the deep truths of

the Word the Lord has shown us in prophecy when there will be a time of trouble such as NEVER WAS.

Very sadly, millions will be deceived thinking Christ has come, simply because God will allow  a

"strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,

but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thess. 2: 11-12...

 ⁹Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

 ¹⁰And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2 Thess. 2: 9-10)

It is a serious issue and involves loving the truth, even prophecy, that saves lives, and sharing His love by

knowing Him on an intimate level. Thank God,Jesus has not returned yet, so many can study His Word and

make Him number one in their lives..

Yes God knows our hearts.. AND obedience is paramount..
Knowlege is gain, Wisdom is power but OBEDIENT TRUST IS PARAMOUNT.. Not by might or by power but by the Spirit of God..
God has given us the comforter by way of the presence of His Spirit. It is the Spirit of God who leads us into all truth by our submission. As He REVEALS HIS WORD to us By the Spirit of God the word becomes RHEMA.. IT COMES ALIVE.. and an "ALIVE WORD" will quicken the dead things as well as put to death those things in us that are emnity with God in our lives.
The world teaches us simply to gain knowledge and apply it..
As Kingdom Citizens, it goes deeper than merely ATTEMPTING, TO THE BEST OF "OUR OWN ABILITY" TO GATHER AND APPLY..IT IS ONLY THROUGH "YIELDED SUBMISSION" TO THE SPIRIT OF GOD.. THE ONE WHO GIVES LIFE TO THE WORD, that we are able to OVERCOME..
Without the SPIRIT there will be no Revelation.. Without the Spirit, there is no Power.. Without the Spirit.. Trust and Obedience will waver..

It is the Spirit of God who leads us into all truth.. Truth is gained in the mind, incubated in the heart and BIRTHED in the Spirit.. then made manifest in our daily living..

We are spirit beings and we live in a body.. we have a soul.. The things of this world are temporal but the things of the spirit are eternal.

Our striving to overcome by leaning to our own limited ability to understand and apply the Word of God will only frustrate and discourage us in this walk.. We must relinquish our rights to self and allow GOD .. BY HIS SPIRIT to take over..
Let us therefore cease to attempt to master Spiritual authority via Natural Ability.. We must LIVE IN THE SPIRIT.. for us to EXERCISE ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY OVER THE NATURAL..
When we insist on interpreting the scriptures according to human reasoning and common sense.. we will produce a GOSPEL OF PERVERSION that will serve to KILL and not to BUILD..
